Unlike full-time employees, they typically work with multiple clients and are responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues remotely or on-site. Their duties may include installing software, configuring systems, and offering guidance on technology-related problems. Freelance technical support contractors often set their own schedules and rates, offering flexibility for both themselves and their clients.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a freelance technical support contractor?
