Freelance Brand Marketing Coordinator
People Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented freelance Marketing Coordinator to support the Lifestyle Brand Marketing team by creating compelling marketing materials that help bring our food & beverage brands to life. This role is ideal for someone who has strong presentation design skills, enjoys collaborating with multiple teams, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Working closely with Brand Marketing leaders, Sales, Editorial, Design, and Account Strategy teams, you'll help develop presentations, one-sheets, case studies, and other sales materials that support editorial partnerships across print, digital, social, and events.
Assignment Details:
40 hours a week
Start date: August 2026
End date: October 2026
Hourly Rate: $33
Location: New York Office
Assignment Responsibilities:
  • Create Marketing Materials
    • Design visually compelling sales presentations, one-sheets, case studies, wrap decks, and other client-facing marketing materials.
    • Ensure materials are on-brand, polished, and communicate program details clearly.
  • Support Go-To-Market Initiatives
    • Assist Brand Marketing in creating sales collateral for new edit opportunities and maintain consistent messaging across materials
  • Cross Team Collaboration
    • Partner with sales, marketing, editorial, account strategy, edit solutions, events, and design teams to finalize details for client materials. Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately to meet deadlines.
  • Organize Assets
    • Help maintain libraries of presentations, templates, case studios, and other go-to-market resources. Ensure materials remain current & organized.
  • Assist with Special Projects
    • Support the rollout of new marketing initiatives by updating presentations and creating supporting collateral.
    • Contribute creative ideas for improving marketing materials & sales storytelling.

Experience:

  • Internship or freelance experience creating presentations or marketing materials is welcome.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
  • You have excellent storytelling skills with an ability to execute visually impactful presentations (fluent in Google Slides and Keynote)
  • You pay excellent attention to detail and have incredible organizational skills.
  • You're an excellent communicator, who remains poised under pressure and can tailor messages for different audiences
  • You have an understanding of the advertising landscape, products, and trends; understanding of digital, print and/or programmatic marketplace is required
  • You are a true self-starter - provide proactive ideas, understand organizational goals, and move initiatives forward
  • You are comfortable working in a fast paced environment
