Job description

Job Summary:
Title: Music Brand Partnerships Intern (Paid)
Location: New York, NY (In-office, 5 days a week)
Average hours: Up to 30 hours per week
The Role:
Roc Nation is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand, experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to brand partnerships, advertising, strategic marketing, social media, and sales.
Areas that you will be learning about as a Music Brand Partnerships Intern:
  • How to create marketing decks and client one-sheets
  • Skills related to responding to RFP's and castings
  • How to apply critical thinking to marketing needs
  • How to manage/create deal trackers and campaign summary materials
  • How to organize schedules and client priorities
  • Relationship building with brands, agencies, and other departments
  • Skills related to building, presenting, and executing integrated marketing projects across the entertainment and media landscapes

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work out of NYC office for the Fall semester
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time college student working towards your Associate's, Bachelor's or Masters degree or recent graduate
  • Background in marketing or communications a plus
  • Interest in learning new technologies and software including Salesforce, Monday.com and CreatorIQ
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite
  • Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
  • Proficiency with social networking platforms is required, as is a key eye for trends and influencers
  • Familiarity with Keynote/ PowerPoint

The expected compensation for this position in NYC is:
