Graphic Designer/Production Artist

Large Format experience is ideal

A busy, successful large-format and sign firm is looking for a dynamic Temp-to-Hire Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join their onsite team! This team delivers high-quality signs, vehicle wraps and large-format solutions.


Graphic Designer/Production Artist will have strong hands-on experience in signage, large-format, digital printing, pre-press, and print production. We're looking for someone who understands the full production workflow, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high-quality work.


If you've worked in large format environments, possess ninja skills in Illustrator, know your way around print production, file setup, color management, and digital print equipment, let's connect.


What You'll Do

  • Design, layout and production for large format - Create compelling visuals for signage, trade show displays, ADA signs, wayfinding systems, vehicle wraps, and more
  • Pre-Press Preparation - Set up production-ready files, knowledge of configuring bleeds,
  • Design with an understanding of material and substrate properties (vinyl, fabric, mesh, substrates) and machine production limitations in mind.
  • Prepare and produce large format signage, vehicle wraps, and digital print projects for print production
  • Prepare pre-press production files and ensure files are fully print-ready
  • Maintain quality control throughout the production process
  • Troubleshoot production files and printing issues as needed
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams regarding project specs and timelines
  • Help manage multiple projects while meeting tight production deadlines


Requirements

  • Experience in large format printing, signage, and digital print production
  • Strong understanding of pre-press, print production, and post-production workflows
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with RIP software (like Onyx, Wasatch, or Fiery).
  • Knowledge of: color management, file preparation, imposition
  • Strong eye for detail, color theory, typography, and precise measurement.
  • Print-ready setup for large format output
  • Experience operating or working closely with large format printers and related equipment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Troubleshooting mindset with the ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently


This is a temp-to-hire, onsite opportunity working in Las Vegas, NV. REMOTE work is not available.


Ideal candidates have experience in pre-press, print production, and post-production workflows in a digital/print/large-format environment.
