JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Kinesiology Physical Activity Program (KPAP) in the Department of Kinesiology invites applications for part-time instructors to teach academically focused physical activity and/or fitness for life classes. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates should have an interest and skills in lifetime sport and exercise activities (e.g. fitness conditioning, yoga).
A minimum of a Master's degree in an appropriate discipline and/or advanced certification/expertise in a specialized field, and a commitment to quality teaching is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be reviewed beginning immediately and continue to be reviewed until needed positions are filled.
To be considered for this position, applications must be submitted online electronically and should include a cover letter, C.V., and three references. Please include strengths and preferences in specific areas (i.e. yoga, fitness conditioning, wellness, racquet sports, ballroom dance, etc.).
