Description:

The Manager, Operations Support – Flag Football will support the planning, coordination, and execution of key flag football operations across the league. This role plays a critical part in delivering a consistent, organized, and high-quality product by assisting in the implementation of league policies, operational processes, and event execution.


This person will contribute across a range of functional areas, including game operations, flag football-related events, equipment, facilities and player personnel. This individual will operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, providing hands-on support, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with league standards and objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of flag football operations across key functional areas, including gameday operations, flag events, equipment and/or player personnel
  • Contribute to planning and execution efforts for games, events, and flag football-related activities across the season and offseason
  • Serve as a key operational support resource, helping to resolve issues, escalate risks, and ensure smooth execution in real-time environments
  • Help manage team operations, including schedules, equipment and travel
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including venues, officials, medical staff, and other football operations stakeholders
  • Support strategic initiatives related to league launch and special events
  • Assist in the development and implementation of league policies, procedures, and operational best practices
  • Support logistics and readiness efforts, including equipment, facilities, player-related needs, and event setup
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across flag football operations and cross-functional partners
  • Assist with training camp, combines, showcases, clinics, and other offseason flag football initiatives
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in football operations, game operations, player personnel, or a related role within professional, collegiate, or elite-level sports
  • General working knowledge of operations within a live sports environment, including exposure to gameday or player-related processes
  • Experience supporting live events or high-pressure operational environments
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments and operate with a high level of accountability
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

  • Experience at the team or league level within professional sports
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
