Description
The Manager, Operations Support - Flag Football will support the planning, coordination, and execution of key flag football operations across the league, with a strong emphasis on player personnel strategy and pipeline development. This role plays a critical part in building a scalable, sustainable talent ecosystem while also helping deliver a consistent, organized, and high-quality on-field product.
This person will contribute across a range of functional areas, including player personnel, talent identification and development, flag football events, equipment, facilities, and game operations. This individual will operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, providing hands-on support, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with league standards and long-term growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of flag football operations with a primary focus on player personnel strategy, scouting, and pipeline development for both men's and women's talent
  • Assist with training camp, combines, showcases, clinics, and other offseason initiatives to identify, develop, and build a robust pipeline of flag football athletes
  • Assist in the management of player roster databases and player personnel systems
  • Contribute to planning and execution efforts for games, events, and player-centric programming across the season and offseason
  • Help manage team operations, including player logistics, schedules, equipment, and travel
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including coaches, scouts, venues, officials, medical staff, and player personnel stakeholders
  • Support strategic initiatives related to league growth, talent expansion, and special events
  • Assist in the development and implementation of league policies, procedures, and player personnel best practices
  • Support logistics and readiness efforts, including equipment, facilities, player-related needs, and talent events
  • Help manage player registration, eligibility, contract status, and transaction records
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across flag football operations, player personnel networks, and cross-functional partners

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in player personnel, scouting, football operations, or a related role within professional, collegiate, or elite-level sports
  • Demonstrated experience in talent identification, evaluation, and/or player development pipelines preferred
  • General working knowledge of operations within a live sports environment, including exposure to player personnel or gameday processes
  • Experience supporting live events or high-pressure operational environments
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to adapt in fast-paced, evolving environments and operate with a high level of accountability
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:
  • Experience at the team or league level within professional sports
  • Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Experience working with or building player talent pipelines, scouting networks, or athlete development programs
