Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, technically strong Food Safety Manager to lead, implement, and continuously improve food safety programs across a large, fastpaced campus environment. You will champion a culture of safety, ensure regulatory and brand compliance, and partner with culinary and operations teams to deliver safe, highquality food experiences at scale.

This role blends technical food safety expertise, risk mitigation, and crossfunctional leadership, ensuring that every kitchen, cafe, and service point meets the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Lead food safety compliance - Ensure adherence to FDA Food Code, HACCP, and local health department regulations across all culinary operations.

  • Conduct safety audits - Perform routine inspections of kitchens, cafes, production areas, and storage to identify risks and drive corrective actions.

  • Manage incidents - Investigate foodborne illness claims, contamination events, and operational deviations; develop CAPA plans to prevent recurrence.

  • Deliver training - Create and facilitate engaging training on sanitation, allergen management, HACCP, and safe food handling for culinary teams and contractors.

  • Strengthen operational readiness - Support menu rollouts, equipment onboarding, and process changes to ensure safety is embedded into daily workflows.

  • Analyze safety data - Track KPIs, audit scores, temperature logs, and compliance trends; present insights to leadership to inform decisions.
