Food Safety Program Supervisor

Location: Oxnard, CA

Compensation: $90,000

Job Type: Direct Hire


United Staffing Associates is partnering with a growing organization to hire a bilingual Food Safety Program Supervisor to lead food safety and compliance efforts across operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a food safety team, including performance oversight
  • Oversee food safety programs (HACCP, SQF, and related systems)
  • Manage internal and external audits, including CAPAs and follow-up
  • Maintain and improve food safety and sanitation SOPs
  • Ensure accurate documentation for regulatory and customer compliance
  • Train staff on food safety practices and regulatory requirements
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and operations teams
  • Support certification processes and continuous improvement initiatives


What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in food safety, quality control, or regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Food Science, Agriculture, Biology, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety systems
  • Experience with audits, CAPAs, and compliance reporting
  • HACCP certification required; SQF, ServSafe, or ISO certifications preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
