Summary


As a part-time, on-site Safety Intern in the St. Paul, MN area, you’ll work directly with our Safety Manager and gain real-world experience in workplace safety, compliance, training, and accident prevention. This is a great opportunity to learn how safety programs are built, supported, and improved in a fast-paced production and distribution environment.

·        Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of workplace safety programs

·        Support safety training initiatives and help promote safe work practices

·        Participate in accident investigations and assist with follow-up documentation

·        Help support Occupational Health and EHS compliance efforts

·        Collaborate with team members across departments to strengthen our safety culture


What We’re Looking For

·        Interest in health, safety, occupational health, environmental science, or a related field

·        Basic understanding of Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or EHS principles

·        Curiosity and willingness to learn about safety training, compliance, and accident investigation

·        Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

·        Ability to work independently while also collaborating with employees across departments

·        Enrollment in or completion of a degree program related to Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred, but not required

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management skills
