Job description

GrayBull will open on day one to the Dormie standard of first-class facilities, pristine course conditions, and 60 beds on site for members to make the most of the evening entertainment available at network tournaments and private events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Culinary leadership team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the Executive Chef in planning, preparing, and executing all food served throughout the club.
  • Handle daily food preparation duties and ensure menu items are prepared according to established recipes, formulas, and standards.
  • Assist with the development, testing, and execution of menu items.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all kitchen areas in accordance with health code regulations.
  • Inspect kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs to the Executive Chef.
  • Assist with maintaining kitchen inventory, checking in vendor deliveries, and supporting ordering and inventory controls.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership support to kitchen staff and assist with training and coaching as directed.
  • Support scheduling, task assignments, and workflow coordination within the kitchen.
  • Assist other areas of the club as needed to support overall operations.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards and wear assigned uniforms.
  • Adhere to all Dormie Network policies, procedures, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with all employees to promote an efficient, professional, and service-driven environment.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, hospitality, and a consistent willingness to support members, guests, and fellow employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of previous experience in food preparation and cooking required.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and turn in kitchen and service areas.
  • Ability to visually inspect ingredients and finished products for quality and presentation.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment and standard office or point-of-sale systems.
