Job description

Indirect Patient Care involves assisting our team in the care of our patients. A volunteer would mainly work out of our main office and do a variety of tasks.

Office

Answering phones, data entry, filing, or assisting with relaying messages to our team in the field are just a few of the responsibilities of an office volunteer. They help ensure efficient processing of paperwork and the overall smooth operation of the office.

Special Projects

Sending birthday or sympathy cards, creating gifts for the patient or the bereaved, networking with other volunteers, attending fairs to help educate the public about our services, and assisting with a newsletter or scrapbook are some of the many special projects where volunteers are needed. We work together to arrange and deliver gift baskets at Christmas. And we also deliver flowers donated by a local flower shop twice a month to some of our patients.
