As a flower processing supervisor, you will be an integral part of our team, helping us deliver on our promise of excellence, and serving others by delighting people for all of life's celebrations.
Job Description:
The Flower Processing Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing employees in the flower processing department. In addition, the Flower Processing Supervisor is responsible for verifying contents of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices or storage receipts, checking for damage, pricing, and storing fresh product inventory.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Unload incoming shipments and process fresh inventory
  • Check freight-in against invoices (purchase orders) for discrepancies
  • Examine new inventory for defects or damages
  • Investigate and complete credit reports
  • Transfer products to correct locations
  • Attach identification data onto inventory
  • Keep storage and inventory areas cleaned and organized.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
  • Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards
