Overall Requirements:

Our Operations Department is looking for a Production Scheduler to help coordinate the processing of releasing work orders to the shop floor. To interact closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse and Customer Service to prioritize and expedite parts to meet deadlines. Generates and maintains status reports and provides information as needed to support group.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and prioritizes jobs through work cells & outside operations to best meet daily plan including prioritizing list to current communicated priority.
  • Help coordinates activities of the receiving clerk and purchasing.
  • Identifies problems or bottlenecks delaying critical jobs from being completed on time.
  • Communicates with and obtains assistance from required persons to resolve problems.
  • regarding status jobs and maintain updated list of remaining operations of all released jobs.
  • Review cell demand and capacity with Operations Manager, and Shop Floor Supervisor
  • Prepares production reports.

Education & Experience:

  • BA or College Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or relevant field or minimum 2 years' related work experience
  • High school diploma


Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing & Outside Processes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Basic negotiation and project management skills resulting in the proficient management of multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to deal constructively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and oral
  • Close attention to details and the ability to follow up on actions
  • Demonstrated skills in using MS Word & Excel
  • Good working knowledge
  • Cross functional team player
