Insurance Call Center Agent

Location Tampa, FL | Onsite


COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $18/hr

• Monday – Friday, 7am - 6pm (Flexible for OT / weekends as needed)


ROLE IMPACT: This role supports policyholders by providing critical front-line service for insurance-related inquiries. Success is defined by responsiveness, clarity in communication, and the ability to resolve calls efficiently while identifying lead opportunities and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle inbound calls from policyholders, agents, and mortgage companies regarding coverage, billing, and general policy inquiries

• Respond accurately to First Notice of Loss (FNOL), billing, and mortgage-related calls

• Process endorsements such as mortgage updates and document uploads (IT)

• Provide technical and procedural guidance to clients and internal team members

• Maintain service standards while documenting all customer interactions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume customer service call center

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence

• Ability to multi-task and resolve issues under time pressure

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Microsoft Word

• Microsoft Outlook

• Microsoft Excel

• Call center telephony platforms (unspecified)

• CRM or policy management systems (unspecified)

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Conflict resolution or negotiation experience

• Experience in insurance industry or understanding of insurance terminology

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
