Job description

Staff Nurse

Utilizing the nursing process, the staff nurse is responsible for providing the immediate and short-term nursing care needs and planning for the long-term nursing care needs of patients according to the Indiana Nurse Practice Act and established Scott Memorial Hospital nursing policies, procedures and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing.

Required Experience: BLS required and AACN certification encouraged

Licensure: Registered nurse in the State of Indiana

Equipment: Computer, telephone, and patient care equipment as specified on nursing units.
