MLR is on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse to become part of our client's Labor and Delivery team near Belen, NM!
Key Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse:
  • Monitor and evaluate patients continuously throughout labor, including vital signs and fetal heart rate assessment.
  • Provide hands-on assistance during labor, such as administering medications, supporting deliveries, and managing pain relief measures.
  • Educate patients and their families about the labor process, the various delivery options available, and postpartum care essentials.
  • Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare providers to facilitate a seamless and secure delivery.
  • Ensure precise and thorough documentation of all aspects of patient care throughout the labor and delivery process.
  • Act swiftly and effectively in response to emergencies or complications, following established protocols.
  • Uphold a clean and sterile environment by adhering to hospital policies and infection control standards.
Registered Nurse Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in New Mexico.
  • Preferred: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
  • Required certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
