Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Weekend Shift Lead to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations in a CNC manufacturing environment. This is a working lead role ideal for an experienced CNC machinist who enjoys troubleshooting, mentoring operators, and keeping production running smoothly during off shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines and automated equipment to meet production and quality goals 
  • Serve as the technical lead for weekend shift operations 
  • Troubleshoot CNC machines, Fanuc controls, and automation equipment to minimize downtime 
  • Perform setups, verify programs, and make approved machine adjustments 
  • Support and train machine operators as needed 
  • Monitor production and quality performance and communicate issues to leadership 
  • Complete production and downtime documentation 
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience 
  • Experience troubleshooting automated or robotic manufacturing equipment 
  • Ability to read blueprints and work instructions 
  • Previous lead or team leadership experience is preferred
