Job description

Machine Brake Press Operator - 2nd Shift
  • Monday - Thursday, 4pm - 2:30am (must be able to train on 1st shift)

Do you know your way around metal, machines, and blueprints? Join our client's team in custom metal fabrication — as a 2nd Shift Press Brake Operator and take pride in making precision parts that go the distance.

What You’ll Do
Set up and run high-tonnage press brakes to form steel parts that meet tight tolerances and tighter deadlines. 
Operating & cross-training on drilling/inserting, spot welding, saw/strippet & laser.

Machine Setup & Operation
  • Set up and operate press brakes with precision and efficiency
  • Read blueprints, understand GD&T, and form parts to spec
  • Adjust back gauges, tooling, and parameters as needed

Quality & Accuracy
  • Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts
  • Complete documentation and quality checks to ensure zero rework
  • Spot issues early and make corrections — your eye for detail matters

Teamwork & Ownership
  • Work independently but coordinate with Material Handlers & Welders
  • Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized (5S)
  • Take pride in your parts — and help train others as needed
