Position Overview:
MedLife Healthcare is seeking a skilled and reliable Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of ultrasound procedures and echocardiography (Echo). This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel between multiple clinic locations to support patient care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms (Echo)
  • Ensure accurate imaging and proper documentation for physician review
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes clearly and professionally
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver timely and accurate results
  • Travel between MedLife Healthcare locations as needed to provide coverage
Qualifications:
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or equivalent Echo certification strongly preferred
  • Proven experience performing echocardiograms independently
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and best practices
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical environments
