Job description

Construction Operations Manager
RISE is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to lead the operational systems, project controls, construction administration, and workflow management functions that support our growing development and construction portfolio.
This position is ideal for experienced Construction Managers, Project Controls Managers, Construction Project Managers, Construction Operations Leaders, or Construction Administration professionals looking to make a significant impact within a growing organization.
The Construction Operations Manager serves as the operational backbone of the construction team, ensuring projects move efficiently from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining accountability, consistency, and compliance across all active projects.
Responsibilities
Construction Operations amp; Project Controls
  • Oversee project controls, construction administration, and operational processes across multiple active projects
  • Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, submittals, RFIs, permits, and closeout activities
  • Develop and maintain project tracking systems, dashboards, and reporting tools
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all project records and documentation
  • Identify process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce project risk
  • Monitor project milestones and support project teams in achieving schedule objectives
Team Leadership
  • Supervise Project Coordinators and Assistant Project Managers
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability standards
  • Train team members on systems, workflows, and best practices
  • Develop scalable operational procedures that support company growth
Systems amp; Technology
  • Serve as primary administrator for Procore and other project management platforms
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Implement operational improvements and technology solutions
  • Maintain document control standards and reporting processes
Contract amp; Financial Administration
  • Review contracts, change orders, invoices, and supporting documentation
  • Assist with budget tracking and project reporting
  • Coordinate approvals and documentation workflows
  • Support leadership in identifying project risks and operational issues
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in construction operations, construction management, project management, project controls, or construction administration
  • Strong understanding of multifamily, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projects
  • Experience managing contracts, project documentation, and construction workflows
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
Preferred
  • Procore administration experience
  • Experience building operational systems and processes
  • Knowledge of construction financial controls and project reporting
  • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
