Role Summary

The Commercial Automotive Service Advisor plays a key role in managing relationships with commercial and fleet clients by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all vehicle service needs are handled efficiently. This position requires an experienced service advisor with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and ideally with Ford dealership or commercial vehicle experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for commercial and fleet service customers

  • Write accurate repair orders and maintain detailed service documentation

  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair work

  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage for commercial vehicles

  • Communicate service updates, cost estimates, and repair timelines clearly and professionally

  • Manage multiple accounts while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy

  • Build long-term relationships with local business and fleet clients to encourage repeat business

  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

  • Work closely with the parts department and service manager to ensure efficiency and accuracy

  • Maintain knowledge of Ford service programs, recalls, and warranty policies

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor preferred (Ford dealership experience highly preferred)

  • Experience working with commercial or fleet clients strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, warranty, and repair processes

  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills

  • Strong computer and DMS proficiency (Dealertrack)

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional appearance and attitude with a customer-first mindset

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
