Job description

  • Lead and continuously improve the legal operations and compliance infrastructure supporting company growth
  • Design, implement, and optimize legal processes, templates, playbooks, intake workflows, approval structures, and reporting
  • Administer and improve contract lifecycle management workflows
  • Support routine contract review and execution for NDAs, MSAs, fleet lease documentation, amendments, notices, and related commercial agreements
  • Prepare and maintain board materials, minutes, written consents, resolutions, officer and director records, subsidiary records, annual reports, state registrations, tax accounts, and governance trackers
  • Maintain compliance calendars, policies, delegation of authority processes, audit-ready documentation, insurance and registration support, and operational controls
  • Coordinate legal documentation and processes for vehicle leasing, financing, eVaulting, lender requirements, UCC filings, diligence, and related operational support
  • Help manage outside counsel budgets
  • Work closely with the General Counsel, Senior Director of Commercial Counsel, and senior leaders across Finance, People, and Fleet Operations
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in a legal operations, risk, and/or compliance function
  • Significant autonomy and project leadership experience
  • Preferably experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • Track record of building practical legal processes and improving contract and governance workflows
  • Ability to translate legal requirements into clear, scalable business operations
  • Experience managing entity records, board materials, compliance calendars, contract repositories, signature processes, and cross-functional trackers
  • Demonstrated history of identifying structural or strategic issues and opportunities and presenting conclusions and recommendations verbally and in writing
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven ability to solve multidisciplinary problems creatively
  • Comfort working with legal technology and data to create actionable insights, refine processes, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency
  • Clear communication with stakeholders across different organizational levels and functions
  • Ability to thrive in hands-on, fast-moving environments and solve ambiguous problems
