Fleet Operations Support Specialist II

Cox Fleet is the leading provider of on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, offering mobile on-site fleet service for light medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Also services customers utilizing its 20+ nationwide service centers; each offering accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair. We are supported by a 24/7 in-house call-center and provide scheduled maintenance services and unscheduled services to fleets anywhere, anytime.

Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Fleet Operations Support Specialist II. The Fleet Operations Support Specialist II will focus on managing, maintaining, and supporting driver service platforms while consulting with customers to drive further value throughout the organization. This role will focus specifically on telematic program support and will include asset management, customer support, invoicing, reporting and supporting program growth initiatives. Cox Fleet is looking to drive efficiently by bringing automation to our programs for operational teams utilizing programs and systems. Position will require a consultative approach, excellent customer service, strong vendor management and attention to detail. The position will be supporting all divisions under the Cox umbrella of businesses as well as external customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage procurement, deactivation and warranty process for telematic devices
  • Work with telematic vendors, drivers and maintenance facilities to ensure proper installation and continued functionality
  • Partner with Cox Fleet and telematic provider(s) to troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain user, driver and corporate hierarchy and permissions for responsible programs
  • Consult with stakeholders to provide reporting to maximize value of corporate programs
  • Maintain knowledge of program updates and train users on new and existing features
  • Ensure billing accuracy and timely processing of payment
  • Help build and create automations with providers and Cox systems
  • Support field teams during BCP events

Minimum qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related field
  • 3 years asset, client or account management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with peers, business partners, and leadership

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fleet and telematics experience
