Job description

As a Fleet Manager on Via's Operations team, you'll be responsible for managing fleet operations using our innovative technology platform and purpose-built tools. You'll manage day-to-day fleet operations and own the condition of the fleet while continuously driving efficiency in our operations.
This will be a remote, fixed-term, contract position. Must be able to start immediately
What You'll Do:
  • Ensure Via's partners' fleets are maintained in excellent condition, owning fleet operations for a portfolio of Via services
  • Proactively manage day-to-day fleet operations to key performance indicators
  • Coordinate shuttling and maintenance work with vendors, partners and local fleet leads
  • Clearly communicate real-time status updates internally and externally
  • Accurately keep track of fleet maintenance activity and costs using the tools provided
  • Maintain 100% compliance on preventative maintenance
  • Generate reports and work with data to provide insights on fleet performance
  • Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact for fleet issues and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functionally to develop scalable processes and tools to increase operating efficiency and performance

Who You Are:
  • A self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility
  • Fluency with microsoft suite and comfortable learning new tools
  • 3-5 years of previous project management, operations, or fleet management experience [preferred but not required]
  • Previous experience with Salesforce and Tableau a plus
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Outgoing and sociable; skilled at communicating professionally with colleagues, vendors and partners from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proactive problem solver, you take initiative to jump in when problems arise
  • Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Compensation
  • 40 hours a week
  • Up to $37.50 / hour
