Job Title: Case Manager - Nurse Practitioner Department: Occupational Medical FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary: Performs and provides various occupational health services to include drug and alcohol collections, pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, audiometric exams, blood draws, vaccinations, physical assessments, MEQ reviews, urgent care assessment and treatment, X-Rays and other services as necessary for clients.

Qualifications required: • A Master's degree in Nursing Practice, or a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice • Valid state medical licensure (Advance Practice Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner) • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications desired: • Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Certified Medical Examiner registered to perform Department of Transportation (DOT) Physicals • One to three years experience and certified in drug screen testing, breath alcohol testing, pulmonary function testing, fit testing, audiometric applications, administering vaccinations and physical assessments, urgent care assessment and treatment and X-Rays • Valid state certification/licensure to perform X-Rays for medical purposes • Bilingual
Essential functions and responsibilities: • Performs drug screen collections following DOT specimen collections guidelines • Performs occupational injury assessment and treatment • Performs X-Rays for medical purposes • Performs breath alcohol testing using Intoximeter evidential breath testers (EBTs) such as the Alco-Sensor IV and RBT IV, following DOT alcohol testing guidelines • Performs hair collections following Psychemedics guidelines • Performs pulmonary function testing using the Spiro USB system or other systems/instruments following all OSHA Guidelines • Performs audiometric testing following OSHA guidelines • Reviews respirator medical evaluation questionnaires (MEQ) according to OSHA standards for clearance • Performs respiratory fit testing using the TSI Portacount following all OSHA Guidelines for quantitative fit testing • Performs blood draws via venipuncture and finger stick methods • Performs physical assessments in accordance with DOT/FMCSA guidelines, OSHA, industry and employer guidelines • Performs vaccinations • Reviews all service center MEQ's, results of testing services and appropriate documentation • Maintains client records in a confidential manner • Ensures all occupational health paperwork is entered into DISAWorks® (a proprietary database) • Accessible by phone and email during and after normal working hours to other service center personnel
