Finance - Financial Systems Analyst

Department: Finance
Status: Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 1st Shift - Flexible hours/hybrid location available

Position Summary:

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Financial Systems Analyst to support and advance our financial systems and reporting capabilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and enhancing financial software, supporting revenue cycle operations, and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance department in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing financial systems and software solutions. 
  • Oversee integration of Meditech with financial applications such as Quadax, Experian, collection agencies, outsourced A/R vendors, and cost reporting systems. 
  • Ensure seamless integration between financial systems and other hospital platforms (HR/payroll, materials management, pharmacy, and revenue-generating systems). 
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports using Meditech NPR and other reporting tools. 
  • Review and recommend standard system reports; create custom reports as needed. 
  • Serve as Meditech B/AR Core Leader: 
    • Manage user access and system permissions 
    • Troubleshoot system issues with IT and department leaders 
    • Lead upgrades, implementations, and enhancements 
  • Act as project manager for financial system implementations, ensuring strong communication and cross-department collaboration. 
  • Establish and monitor key revenue cycle benchmarks and performance metrics. 
  • Support revenue cycle operations by ensuring efficient flow of claims and financial data. 
  • Collaborate with Information Systems to resolve system issues and improve functionality. 
  • Perform financial analysis to validate accuracy and completeness of reporting. 
  • Assist with audits, cost reporting, and external data requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (with strong technical emphasis), or related field; or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience supporting end users with business system implementations and applications. 
  • Knowledge of accounting, HR/payroll, and financial systems. 
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Meditech NPR, Crystal Reports, or similar. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA programming. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
