What The Role Entails


We are seeking an ERP Administrator to be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for both real estate development projects and corporate entities. This role ensures system integrity across finance, development, procurement, and construction workflows, including integrations with project management and asset management platforms. The administrator partners with accounting, development, and IT teams to streamline processes, maintain data accuracy, and implement system enhancements aligned with rapid portfolio growth. Additionally, the role oversees user access, reporting, and internal controls to support scalable operations and compliance requirements.

What You Will Get To Do

  • Serve as subject-matter expert and administrator for core financial systems platforms.
  • Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to understand reporting, accounting, and operational needs and translate them into system requirements and technical specifications.
  • Lead or contribute to financial system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain system configurations, workflows, business rules, security roles, and data structures.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage incidents, coordinate resolution with IT or external vendors, and ensure continuous system stability.
  • Design and document business processes, system workflows, user procedures, and training materials.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities by ensuring system accuracy and timely delivery of financial data.
  • Conduct data analysis, reconciliation, and validation during projects and ongoing operations.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, communication, and stakeholder expectations for system-related initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved data integrity across financial processes.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field highly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in a combined role spanning accounting, financial systems administration, and/or business systems analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one top-tier financial ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, Yardi, or other similar platforms.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and/or transformation.
  • Proven experience with systems implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, accounting processes, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management capability, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

  • CPA, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) systems, integration tools, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or other data management technologies.
  • Experience with API and/or direct integration tools
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving or high-growth environment.
