The Technology Finance & Project Coordinator is responsible for providing overall business and administrative support for the SVP/Chief Information Officer and the VP Business Technology Solutions and assisting with various aspects of Technology Solutions Group (TSG) daily business operations. Responsibilities include: budgeting, capital planning and financial management; coordination of technology projects; as well as administrative support. The right person for this position has executive presence, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
Position Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Management
  • Manage finances for TSG, including tracking purchasing to budget, reviewing financials, submitting accruals, and participating in P&L reviews each period with Finance
  • Manage annual TSG forecast and budget creation/submission process
  • Coordinate TSG capital planning with CIO and TSG leadership
  • Coordinate capital labor report submission to Finance each period
  • Coordinate annual fixed assets review for Finance

Project Coordination
  • Light project management and coordination for technology projects as assigned.
  • Create Project Expense Requests (PERs) for capital projects and manage close-out process for PERs as needed.
  • Provide support for technology governance process as requested

Administrative Support
  • Provide basic administrative support for VP and CIO, including meeting coordination, company credit card reviews, expense report creation, and small projects
  • Provide general administrative support for TSG, including onboarding/offboarding, org chart updates, team event coordination, company credit card approvals, expense report submissions
  • Produce bi-monthly TSG team newsletter, including identifying and creating content
  • Manage annual safety documentation process for TSG

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of project coordination, project management and/or financial management experience (commensurate relevant experience may satisfy education requirement).
  • Financial management skills required including understanding a P&L and accompanying detailed schedule, creating and managing budgets.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Strong planning, administrative, and organizational skills; attention to detail a must.
  • Orientation of moving forward to drive progress, even when it is not popular or easy. Ability to be assertive when necessary to accomplish goals, while still maintaining strong relationships.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with corporate, property, vendor, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines; proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly at all times.
  • Experience with planning and coordinating meetings, trainings, and technical workshops.
  • Flexible and able to work effectively amidst changing priorities driven by business seasonality.
  • Work experience in the theme park and/or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with excellent Excel skills.
  • Potential travel up to 5-10%, primarily to support planned technology solutions rollouts at operating property locations.
  • After-hours and weekend support as needed.
