Position Overview

GreatAmerica Financial Services is seeking a Business Support Financial Analyst to lead, evaluate, and support the financial implications of our business support strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Business Support Leaders to develop unit operating and financial strategies.
  • Assist in developing financial models for forecasting operating results, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements (e.g., annual budget and 5โ€‘year plan).
  • Continuously analyze performance against financial plans, identify trends and opportunities, and collaborate with leadership to implement improvement plans.
  • Work with stakeholders to quantify financial and operational impacts in support of strategic decisionโ€‘making.
  • Recommend revenue growth or costโ€‘saving opportunities aligned to longโ€‘term financial plans.
  • Assist with monthly reporting to business support and leadership.
  • Partner with the business unit and data analytics team to design and create interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Promote and participate in processโ€‘improvement initiatives within business support.
  • Advocate a dataโ€‘driven culture through active participation in the data champion community.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • New college graduate or finance professional with 1โ€‘3 years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools; experience with reporting and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI) is preferred.
