Job description

JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Data Manager position is within Prolink's Finance Department and serves as the primary owner of financial data governance, financial reporting architecture and finance data automation initiatives. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting and Information Technology teams to ensure financial data is accurate, secure, auditable and accessible for decision making. The Finance Data Manager is responsible for maintaining financial data structures, developing reporting solutions, improving data quality and enabling scalable analytics capabilities across the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and maintain financial data governance standards, validation processes and data quality controls.
  • Oversee the architecture and integrity of financial data warehouses and reporting environments.
  • Develop and maintain reporting datasets, dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting leaders to define and maintain key performance indicators and reporting standards.
  • Develop and maintain system-based allocation methodologies and financial modeling support tools.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and Information Technology for finance data initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and data management processes.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting and executive reporting needs through scalable data solutions.
  • Document data definitions, business rules and reporting methodologies.
  • Monitor data access, security and compliance requirements related to financial information.
  • Provide reporting and analytics support to Finance leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, financial systems, business intelligence, data management or related disciplines.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Workday, Dynamics or similar platforms.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and data governance principles.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.

PREFERENCES
  • Experience within the professional staffing industry.
  • Experience supporting FP&A or corporate finance functions.
  • Experience leading future-state reporting and data modernization initiatives.
