Interns typically help with marketing campaigns, coordinating screenings, researching markets, and administrative duties. This role provides valuable insight into the business side of the film industry, helping interns build connections and understand the process from production to audience. It is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in a career in film sales, distribution, or marketing.

What types of projects and tasks can I expect to work on during a film distribution internship?

As a Film Distribution Intern, you'll typically assist with a variety of tasks such as researching potential buyers or film festivals, preparing marketing materials, tracking film performance data, and supporting contract administration. You may also help coordinate screenings, manage digital assets, and communicate with distributors, sales agents, or exhibitors. This hands-on experience offers a broad view of the distribution pipeline and helps you build valuable industry connections while developing skills in project management and communication.
