Job description

Netflix is recruiting for a senior Human Resources Business Partner to act as a strategic partner to leaders and teams within the Film organization. The role is designed to support the Chairman of Netflix Film and their leadership team by providing guidance, coaching, and thought partnership on a range of people topics.

Responsibilities
  • Champion and implement strategic talent initiatives across culture building, organizational development, talent management, and inclusion & diversity.
  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute a cohesive talent strategy and vision for the Film organization.
  • Drive organization design, compensation, employee development and talent density initiatives to support the Film team’s objectives.
  • Guide and coach other HR professionals and HR Business Partners to strengthen the organization’s people capabilities.
  • Analyze data to uncover insights, build compelling business cases, and influence stakeholders across a global matrixed environment.
  • Lead and influence change initiatives, navigating ambiguity while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Build and develop high‑performing leaders and teams, fostering empathy, inclusion and a culture of empowerment.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and thought partnership to the Chairman, senior leaders, and their teams.
  • Communicate complex information clearly, translating data and analysis into actionable recommendations.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of progressive, strategic HR experience in dynamic, collaborative environments.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting the Film industry, studios, or related production environments.
  • Deep understanding of the production cycle and experience supporting production and production teams across multiple global locations.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with a proven ability to drive data‑driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience in organization design, compensation, employee development, talent management, talent density, inclusion and diversity.
  • Experience guiding and coaching other HR professionals or HR Business Partners.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed, global organization with autonomy and proactive problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills; trusted partner to senior leadership.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation structure for this role is a single annual salary with no bonus. Salary range: $430,000.00 – $775,000.00. Netflix offers comprehensive benefits that include health plans, mental health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock option program, disability programs, health savings and flexible spending accounts, family‑forming benefits, life and serious injury benefits, paid leave of absence programs, and other paid time off and flexible time off options.

This is an on‑site role working out of our Los Angeles offices.
