Description & Requirements
The Platform Growth & Strategic Partnerships Lead will be responsible for driving audience growth and engagement for Bloomberg TV+, Bloomberg Originals, and Bloomberg's distributed video business. This role will own strategic relationships across key distribution platforms, develop growth initiatives, and lead cross-functional projects that expand Bloomberg's reach and support new content initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in media distribution, audience development, and partner management who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the growth strategy and day-to-day management of Bloomberg's video distribution partnerships across major streaming and connected TV platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, YouTube, LG Channels
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for distribution partners, establishing KPIs and identifying opportunities to increase audience reach, engagement, and content discoverability.
  • Serve as the primary business lead for strategic platform relationships, identifying and executing merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product opportunities that drive audience growth, engagement, and partner success.
  • Partner closely with Editorial, Product, Marketing, Programming, Design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute launch strategies for new content, franchises, and platform initiatives.
  • Own Bloomberg's house media strategy across distributed video platforms, collaborating with internal stakeholders to maximize audience acquisition and engagement.
  • Own performance reporting across distribution partners, leveraging audience and engagement data to develop actionable insights, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and strategic recommendations for internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
  • Identify and evaluate new platform partnerships, distribution opportunities, and emerging industry trends to support Bloomberg's long-term audience growth strategy.
  • Support the Global Head on high-impact strategic initiatives, serving as the lead to drive cross-functional alignment and ensure successful implementation and execution across internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience in digital media, streaming, audience development, distribution partnerships, platform strategy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing strategic relationships with major digital, streaming, or connected TV platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the digital video ecosystem, including content distribution, audience development, and platform merchandising.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies that drive audience engagement and business results.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting audience and performance data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience influencing stakeholders across Editorial, Product, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Programming, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing executive-level reporting and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Salary Range = 115,000 - 185,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
