CBS Newspath is seeking an MMJ/Reporter to join our news team. We are looking for a self-motivated, curious storyteller with a love for shooting, writing, and editing national stories of interest, including consumer and health. 

Key Responsibilities:
Pitch daily story ideas, gather news and information for various platforms including TV and digital
Will work with producers and news managers on developing, researching, investigating, writing, producing, and presenting stories as needed for both TV and digital platforms
Present completed news stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced
Will report live during affiliate newscasts in cities around the country, including breaking news as needed
Will shoot, edit, coordinate, manage, conduct, and video record interviews
Build contacts for developing impactful original stories
Flexibility with respect to scheduling and/or assigned work shifts


Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MSJ/ Television Reporter Experience
Proven interview skills
A valid driver's license
Minimum 5 years' experience writing, producing and desktop editing

Education Requirements:
College Degree Required or Equivalent Experience

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 150,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
