As a Product Filing Specialist,you'llbe at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Prepare, submit, and manage life insurance product filings through SERFF, including forms, rates, and supporting documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with state insurance laws, regulations, and NAIC requirements.

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and assess impact on product design and filing strategy.

  • Coordinate with Legal, Actuarial, and Product Development teams to develop compliant filing materials.

  • Track and manage filing status, including responses to objections, data requests, and disapprovals.

  • Draft and revise policy forms, riders, endorsements, and state variations.

  • Maintain accurate filing records and documentation for audits and internal tracking.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on existing and future products.

  • Review marketing materials for consistency with approved policy forms.

  • Support process improvements to enhance filing efficiency and reduce approval timelines.

  • Maintain product data accuracy in LIFE-COMM or similar systems.
