Position Overview

Germer PLLC is seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Runner/File Clerk to support the daily operations of our Beaumont office. This position assists attorneys and staff with court filings, document deliveries, file management, and general administrative support. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Legal Courier Duties: Transport time-sensitive documents and materials between the firm, courthouses, government agencies, clients, other law firms, and designated locations.
  • Court Filing Support: File documents with local courts and government agencies.
  • File Management & Organization: Organize, maintain, retrieve, and archive physical and electronic files.
  • General Clerical Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, printing, mail processing, and document distribution.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, filings, and other assigned tasks.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Assist attorneys and staff with administrative projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
