Legal Administrative Assistant


Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid | $60,000–$80,000


Our client, a highly regarded Minneapolis law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a busy team of attorneys. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned legal administrative professional who enjoys being a trusted partner to attorneys, takes pride in producing polished work, and knows how to stay one step ahead in a fast-paced law firm environment.

We are specifically seeking candidates with prior law firm experience who understand the pace, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail required in legal support.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-level administrative support to multiple attorneys
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage complex calendars, meetings, deadlines, and scheduling
  • Coordinate signatures, filings, document production, and matter-related materials
  • Maintain organized electronic client and matter files
  • Assist with time entry, billing, expenses, and other administrative functions
  • Track deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding items
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams
  • Anticipate attorney needs and help keep matters and workflows moving forward
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion


What We’re Looking For

  • Prior experience working in a law firm environment
  • Experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar legal support professional
  • Demonstrated experience directly supporting attorneys
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Outlook skills
  • Excellent proofreading, formatting, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Professional, responsive, and proactive communication style
  • Strong judgment and exceptional attention to detail


Experience supporting attorneys in litigation, business litigation, intellectual property, or real estate is especially valuable.
