The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for updating service job statuses and communicating to internal and external customers daily. This position supports the Field Service team and ensures accurate and detailed records for field service time, parts, supplies, purchases, warranties, and repairs daily.

+ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs safe work practices by demonstrating awareness in the office, shop, yard, etc.
  • Processes and maintains accurate reporting which includes work orders, labor costs, timesheets, and Field Service documents to support billing practices.
  • Provides high-quality and timely updates to the Field Supervisor, Customers, Service Manager, Sales and Rentals teams, and interested parties as necessary.
  • Completes daily records including the status of work orders, completed jobs, and all timesheets from each field service job.
  • Demonstrates proficient editing and writing skills by reviewing and editing daily timesheets from field service jobs.
  • Accountable for updating work orders as the scope of work changes.
  • Maintains a detailed review of each work order to ensure accurate warranty status and communicates the lack of warranty or other needs to customers.
  • Assists the Field Supervisor in communication with customers, technicians, and other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates care and maintains all company assets.
  • Interacts positively with customers and co-workers daily.

Requirements

+ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Administrative experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills, preferably within the construction equipment service or similar industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience learning and working in different systems.
  • Has an aptitude for organization, maintaining workflows, and the use of office equipment.
