Job description

We’re looking for a motivated Field Merchandiser to help drive store performance and deliver a great in-store experience across an assigned retail territory. In this role, you’ll ensure products are stocked correctly, priced accurately, and displayed to maximize sales and customer engagement.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute company merchandising strategies across assigned stores to drive sales and profitability
  • Ensure products are on-shelf, properly displayed, and priced correctly according to planograms and store layouts
  • Work closely with store managers, retail area managers, and the Category Manager to support day-to-day merchandising needs
  • Build strong relationships with local vendors to maintain product availability and communicate delivery delays, out-of-stocks, and replacements
  • Analyze inventory, pricing, and costs for accuracy and report discrepancies or issues to the Price Book team
  • Set up and maintain signage, POP materials, displays, shippers, and graphics
  • Support new product launches, promotions, merchandising events, and speed-to-shelf initiatives
  • Recommend product assortments and perform SKU rationalization to better meet store-specific customer needs
  • Rotate stock, check date codes, clean displays, and ensure compliance with merchandising standards
  • Provide hands-on field support including stocking, tagging, POP installation, and training as needed
  • Report on out-of-stocks, outdated products, and merchandising opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What You Bring
  • 1–2 years of experience in retail, grocery, or merchandising
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Understanding of retail or grocery store operations
  • Experience with perishable or refrigerated products preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds repeatedly during an 8–10 hour shift
  • Comfortable bending, squatting, reaching, and working on your feet
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
