About the Role: We're looking for a passionate and driven Field Merchandiser to support our Operations team with a strong focus on the 5 P's of marketing – Product, Placement, Price, Promotion, and People. In this role, you'll ensure our in-store execution aligns with company standards, supports sales growth, and delivers an exceptional shopper experience. This position requires travel.

Territory: Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts & Northeastern Pennsylvania

Preferred Residence: Syracuse, Binghamton, Rochester, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Albany, or Springfield areas.Travel throughout assigned territory required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Operations and Marketing teams by executing and maintaining the 5 P's at store level.
  • Ensure planogram (POG) integrity is maintained and all authorized products are properly placed and stocked.
  • Verify that promotions are being executed accurately and on time.
  • Confirm pricing and signage are correct, visible, and compliant with current marketing programs.
  • Ensure new product launches are successfully completed and properly represented.
  • Oversee placement and maintenance of shippers, displays, and secondary placements to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with store managers, field operations, and vendor partners.
  • Provide timely feedback, photos, and reports to management summarizing store visits, execution, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for task management, photo documentation, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, energetic, and a self-motivated professional with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and territory.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in merchandising, retail operations, or convenience store environments preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned territory.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout the workday while visiting multiple store locations.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move products or displays weighing up to 40–50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and stooping to stock shelves, coolers, and endcaps.
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver carts or hand trucks loaded with product cases.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, such as narrow aisles, coolers, and stockrooms.
  • Manual dexterity required to handle small items, apply shelf tags, set up signage, and assemble display materials.
  • Visual ability to read planograms, labels, and pricing to ensure accurate product placement and compliance.
  • Must be able to tolerate varying temperatures, including time spent in refrigerated or freezer sections.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving between store locations; must have reliable transportation.
  • Capable of communicating clearly and following written or verbal instructions in busy retail environments.
  • Occasional early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday hours may be required to complete resets or promotional setups.
