Job description

Fiduciary Assistant
Location: Anchorage, AK
Employment Type: Full-Time, In Office
Reports To: Fiduciary Team Manager
Overview
Peak Trust Company is looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive Fiduciary Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting others, and learning new things while managing a variety of responsibilities.
As a Fiduciary Assistant, you will work closely with Fiduciary Officers and other team members to support the day-to-day administration of client accounts. You do not need prior trust experience—we are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in doing things accurately, communicates well, and knows how to keep work moving forward.
This role provides an opportunity to develop a strong foundation in trust administration while gaining experience that can lead to continued growth within Peak.
What You’ll Do
  • Provide administrative and account support to Fiduciary Officers and other team members, helping keep day-to-day client needs and requests moving forward.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records, documentation, correspondence, and account information within company systems.
  • Support the opening, ongoing administration, and closing of client accounts by gathering documentation, completing administrative tasks, and coordinating next steps.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, advisors, and internal teams while coordinating routine requests, follow-up, and documentation needs.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations and other departments to ensure account-related tasks and requests are completed accurately and timely.
  • Manage assigned responsibilities with strong follow-through, recognize when additional guidance is needed, and provide support on team projects and priorities as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • A proactive approach to identifying what needs to be done and taking appropriate action.
  • Sound judgment and willingness to ask questions or seek guidance when needed.
  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and terminology.
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to support the team where needed.
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Genuine interest in providing excellent service to clients and coworkers.
Prior experience in trust administration, financial services, banking, legal services, or professional administrative support is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
What Success Looks Like
You are someone the team can depend on to keep things organized, follow through, and communicate when something needs attention. You take ownership of your responsibilities without needing constant direction while recognizing when a decision needs to be escalated.
As you grow in the role, you will develop a foundational understanding of trusts, fiduciary administration, and the systems and processes used to support our clients.
Why Join Peak?
At Peak Trust Company, relationships are at the heart of everything we do—with our clients, our partners, and our team. We believe our people are our most valuable asset and are committed to creating an environment where employees can learn, contribute, and continue to grow professionally.
We value integrity, collaboration, thoughtful communication, and people who take pride in how they show up for their team and our clients. We also recognize the importance of work-life balance and offer a competitive benefits package designed to support our employees.

Employment at Peak Trust Company is at-will. An at-will employment relationship may be terminated at any time, with or without reason or notice, by either the employer or the employee.
