Technical Project/Delivery Manager

  • Looking for 5-7 years of relevant technical delivery exp as a PM.
  • They use ServiceNow for tracking. But Jira or other similar tool will suffice.
  • Team is responsible for FEP Bridge (CF claims processing application) that other Blues plans can process their member healthcare claims through FEP Bridge (SaaS)
  • Needs a PM who can help drive the technical delivery of the application in response to what the customers need
  • Top skills:
    • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and various cross functional teams. Acquire resources from other teams, facilitate those conversations to have resources fill requirements that they receive from customers
    • Needs to have BG in IT (Specific technologies is not needed). Will be working a lot with file transfers and API calls.
  • General work week: 3-4 calls with customers where they are asking for certain changes to FEP Bridge. Needs to understand those IT requirements and then translate to Business language.
  • Needs to be OK taking ownership of the technical delivery of specific projects. Getting the right folks in play from across the org to get the job done
  • Top 2 skills: Ability to lead meetings and ability to communicate effectively.

Job Description

Role: Technical IT Project Manager

PURPOSE: Sr. IT Project Manager, leads, plans, executes, monitors, controls and closes projects for the FEP Bridge Infrastructure team. This role oversees and directs complex enterprise wide corporate initiatives involving 15-50+ stakeholder groups across several organizational work streams utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodology to deliver results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • 25% Actively plans and manages large scale Waterfall or Agile projects holistically around scheduled program increments and milestones, scope, cost, resource health and risks while collaborating with stakeholders in key meetings resulting in successful project delivery
  • Coordinate technical changes with cross functional teams
  • Negotiate and obtain approval for schedules pertaining to Technical System Upgrades
  • Communicate technical change activities and scheduled outages with stakeholders.
  • Manage the change requests and track its completion with team members. Ensure statuses are updated in tracking system (ServiceNow)
  • Lead the documentation efforts to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that describe change processes.
  • Host meetings with stakeholders to intake, track status, and understand new project and technical requests.
  • Leads, plans, executes, monitors, controls and closes projects for the FEP Bridge Infrastructure Team.
  • Prepares key documents, present business cases and produces other reports as needed while collaborating with stakeholders to bring technical deliverables for projects to completion.
