Service Technician - Bettendorf, IA


Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in fixing things the right way the first time? Logan Contractors Supply (LCS), a trusted leader in the construction supply industry, is looking for a motivated Service Technician to join our team in Bettendorf, IA. If you enjoy working with equipment, diagnosing issues, and being part of a team that values quality and customer service, we want to hear from you.


What You'll Do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair customer and rental equipment
  • Inspect equipment for damage and communicate findings clearly
  • Service and maintain our rental fleet to ensure peak performance
  • Keep the service bay clean, safe, and organized
  • Communicate parts needs and job updates with the Product Support Manager
  • Ensure all LCS shop equipment is maintained and operating safely
  • Identify additional repair needs and communicate proactively
  • Manage deadlines and notify leadership of scheduling challenges
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Support other duties as assigned by management

Training & Support

We provide hands-on, equipment-specific training to ensure you have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of 1-35hp gas engines
  • Ability to supply your own tools
  • Strong communication skills
  • Electrical experience preferred (not required)


Preference given to candidates with experience in diesel, hydraulic, or construction equipment repair.
