What You'll Do:
The Facility Supervisor supports the Facility Director by managing, as directed and in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures, the maintenance and preventive maintenance efforts of Casa Bonita's building systems and infrastructure, including the physical aspects of the building(s), HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, major appliances and other systems. This role assets in supervising the work of other employees and contractors, coordinates maintenance projects and ensures the property remains safe, operational and well maintained for guests and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the facilities department, including following up on or completing maintenance work orders
  • As directed, supervise, train, and coach custodians and technicians and provide ongoing feedback
  • Responsible for upkeep of the facility and maintaining cleanliness of the facility while on shift to promote an environment supportive of the business
  • Supervise and monitor services provided by third party vendors such as landscaping, pool maintenance, HVAC/R, and other maintenance duties as assigned projects arise
  • As requested, participate in the process to identify the need for service contracts
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and as necessary or directed, repair electronic equipment to include, but not limited to HVAC/R, arcade games, kitchen equipment, entertainment equipment, pool and water features, and plumbing accessories (i.e., restroom valves)
  • Coordinate building repairs with the Facility Director
  • Provide input on and monitor compliance with office health and safety plans
  • Help manage identified maintenance projects as directed by the Facility Director
  • Provide administrative support for personnel issues by providing accurate historical data and clean, concise documentation in compliance with company policy.
  • Assist in approved purchase orders for facilities, maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, parts, and services
  • Assist facilities and housekeeping employees with completion of daily work, as required to meet business needs and expected service levels
  • Diagnose facilities problems using blueprints, technical manuals, service manuals, parts catalogs, and internet resources
  • Perform daily functional and safety checks as directed and in accordance with company process and practices in all areas of the facility
  • As directed and in accordance with company practice, perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements of facility equipment, including kitchen equipment, pool equipment, water features, office equipment, and related components
  • Maintain and repair facility structures such as concrete and drywall, and plumbing, electrical, painting, door hardware, and fire and life safety systems as needed
  • Inspects, repairs, installs, services, and maintains various electrical systems including lighting and power circuits, control equipment, fixtures, lamps, ballasts, switches, and equipment
  • Work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays with 24 hour on-call status in case of emergency
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the need of the organization

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years if relevant commercial, high volume property maintenance
  • 2+ Leadership experience
  • Minimum of High School Diploma Education
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and means of transportation
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings and be available for on call emergencies
  • Ability to embody the Casa Leadership culture
  • Expected to have the ability perform all the duties of the Lead Technician, Technicians, Custodians and Warehouse Staff in order to be cross trained and onboard new staff
  • OSHA 10 and or OSHA 30 Certification
  • OSHA Electrical Awareness Certification Preferred
  • CPO Certification Preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to stand for long periods of time and walk often at a brisk pace
  • Able to walk up inclines and stairs and down declines and stairs multiple times during a shift
  • Must be able to climb up and down ladders multiple times a day
  • Capable of sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work and perform job tasks in Wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
  • Possesses fine motor skills and dexterity
  • Able to withstand temperatures typical within an commercial kitchen setting
  • Able to withstand noise levels typical of a high-volume kitchen, work near moving mechanical parts
  • Able to perform job duties efficiently in lighting conditions typical of an commercial restaurant and commercial kitchen.
  • Able to work in extreme cold, hot (non-weather) related
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and at a fast pace, typical of a high volume restaurant
  • Capable of and at ease with engaging with the public, potentially encountering challenging behavior, infectious diseases, and service animals
  • Will require climbing to high locations, on rocky/sharp surfaces
  • Must be able to walk a minimum of 15,000 steps during any given shift.
