Job description

BASIC FUNCTION

The Fabric Specialist is an hourly paid position which has the responsibility for assisting with product management and coordinating all information regarding the fabric. This position will also be responsible for working with various cross-functions teams to ensure fabric and leather needs are met. Must meet quality requirements and specifications.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enters fabric information into the AS400 program.
  • Works closely with the manufacturing team.
  • Pulls and transports daily fabric for cutting production.
  • Inspects incoming and outgoing fabrics.
  • Responsible for correct bin location of fabrics.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Must have at least 1-2 years of upholstery fabric experience.

Must be able to work on concrete floors for 9-hour shifts.

Ability to get along with others and work in a team environment.

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Attention to detail and quality a must.

Organizational skills.

Must be able to utilize a ladder.

Must be dependable with good attendance.
