Fabric Guru in McCalla, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Fabric Sample Cutter to join our close-knit, supportive team. THE BASICS:

You will work a consistent, full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. This dependable weekday routine means your evenings and weekends are yours to enjoy. This full-time, in-office fulfillment position pays $15.00 โ€“ $17.50 per hour.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As a Sample Fabric Cutter, you will arrive ready to make an impact in our sample room. You will cut samples to fulfill daily orders and prepare sample strips to keep our sample room stocked and organized according to specific product guidelines. Throughout the day, you will maintain a tidy and efficient workspace, and at the close of business, you will mail out the day's sample orders to our customers. Your efforts will help keep our fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment running at its best.


Here's what you need to become our Sample Fabric Cutter:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
  • Physical ability of lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction) and units of measurement (inches, feet, yards)
  • Comfortable with basic computer use

Preferred:

  • Experience with textiles (sewing experience, related knowledge)
  • Experience with order fulfillment (i.e. warehouse fulfillment positions)
  • Comfortable working independently and maintaining productivity in a focused environment
