Job description

Are you interested in leveraging your program management skills to join a dynamic team responsible for improving public perception of selling on Amazon worldwide? The Seller External Relations (SER) team is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Senior Program Manager to support the Sellers in Your Community (SIYC) initiative-a role that balances external engagements with internal program coordination across Amazon business teams.
Through the SIYC initiative, we engage with small businesses in Amazon's store, amplify their stories externally, and advocate for them internally. Our work extends across the Americas, including Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. This role serves as the strategic coordination point between the SIYC team and cross-functional SER teams, ensuring alignment on engagement approaches while executing initiatives that drive measurable small business growth and improve perception of the Amazon store.
This position requires both strategic vision and operational excellence-you'll develop high-level strategic initiatives in partnership with Public Policy while also coordinating internal reporting and execution in line with Amazon's ways of working (QBRs, monthly goals, flashes, etc.). You'll work closely with Public Policy, Public Relations, marketing, product, legal, research and insights, and executive teams across the third-party business to design and accelerate programs that support and amplify seller success. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, and dives deep into details. They have strong business judgment, the ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional teams, embrace ambiguity, ramp quickly, and are skilled at communicating complex issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of internal and external audiences.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the central coordination point between Global Programs and cross-functional SER teams, ensuring healthy information sharing and strategic alignment across SER verticals.
• Coordinate execution of reporting in line with Amazon's ways of working, including QBRs, monthly goals, flashes, and other business rhythms.
• Ensure strategic alignment across SER verticals to drive key objectives and elevate cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization.
• Support and implement SIYC engagement strategies with external organizations, enabling Amazon leaders to engage effectively with these partners.
• Create, optimize, and drive adoption of critical mechanisms required to ensure long-term expansion and success.
• Optimize engagement effectiveness by ensuring the team has access to all necessary tools, insights, and resources from across SER.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
• Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple regions, working with business, Public Policy, Public Relations, marketing, tech, analytics, finance, and executive teams to define and deliver solutions.
About the team
The Seller External Relations (SER) team is responsible for ensuring that Amazon's stores are a great place for third-party sellers, especially for small businesses, to build and maintain thriving businesses. The team engages with third party sellers to amplify their stories and voices externally and advocate for them internally to ensure the intended and perceived seller experience mirrors the reality.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Can travel to local sites up to 25% of the time

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
