Job Title: Social Media Coordinator
Company: Chiefs Fit

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Chiefs Fit team is looking for an innovative, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Social Media Coordinator. This individual will create and deliver digital content and oversee the posting of gym-related content on @ChiefsFit social media. This position will film, edit, and publish video-based social content with the goal of driving member and prospective member engagement while generating interest for the clubs and brand.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, design and execute a strong social media content strategy and voice across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok) 
  • Serve as a community manager by engaging fans, followers, prospects, partners and members and assist with fan engagement by   responding to customers and prospective customers in real-time on social media
  • Develop a monthly social media content and campaign calendar
  • Monitor and analyze social campaign performance and key metrics by identifying key trends and making content recommendations and sharing weekly/monthly reports
  • Identify opportunities, trends and features in the social media space
  • Explore new strategic and creative marketing channels 
  • Deliver on defined organic growth and audience engagement goals
  • Be responsible for hitting specific growth targets across follower count, impressions and website traffic 
  • Facilitate creation of user-generated content and monitor conversations happening on our various channels
  • Ensure proper tracking and labeling structure is in place for all content scheduling
  • Contribute light editorial content or copyrighting assistance as needed
  • Help foster a sense of community among Chiefs Fit consumers 
  • Work with Kansas City Chiefs marketing team to ensure social content aligns with brand guidelines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • 2-4-year college degree, preferably in marketing, digital media or design
  • Expertise with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign software
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Mac Operating Systems, Cloud-sharing platforms (Dropbox, Google Drive, Hightail)
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
  • Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects autonomously
  • Strong understanding of the social and digital ecosystem
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
  • Experience working in the fitness/health category is a plus
  • Strong understanding of social media marketing strategy and the entire social marketing mix – paid, organic, owned and earned
  • Sharp understanding and point of view on social media trends; follows leading blogs, thought leaders and stays abreast of the latest content, product and marketing trends in social
  • Ability to dive deep within a singular project, yet understand its role within a larger vision and scope
  • Highly organized and communicative
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to be comfortable and energetic in the creative process
  • Thrives working autonomously as well as in a team environment

 WORK SCHEDULE
This is a part-time non-exempt position. Your daily schedule will vary throughout the week depending on the needs of the club, the staff, and the members. Special events, promotions, and other demands will require some early mornings, late nights and weekends.
