Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining posting schedules and daily posts to all applicable social media outlets, as well as coordinating the marketing and entertainment calendars with online activity, tracking and creating reports on social media influence measurements, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple channels/networks, preparing reports to update internal staff on usage statistics.         

Job Duties:

  • Contribute to the design, revision, and execution of the social media strategy.
  • Develop new communities and manage branded online communities on the enterprise’s behalf using social media. Prioritize social media channels based on overall strategy and objectives.
  • Create engaging, branded content and campaigns for social media networks. Develop and provide relevant content daily to all applicable social media outlets. Coordinate the marketing calendar with online activity, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging, timing, and relevancy. Ensure consistency of messages/brand across multiple social media networks. Provide continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites and relevant conversations.
  • Track metrics, prepare regular reports to update stakeholders on digital/social media trends; provide recommendations for improvements and adjustments to social media strategy/execution.
  • Capture live social content during concerts, special events and promotions to collect content for social campaigns. In partnership with team, design corresponding campaigns that will drive online engagement.
  • Assists in the strategy, coordination, set-up, and implementation of promotions and special events to support media messaging.
  • Measure, analyze and report the impact of social media efforts on campaigns and department goals.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
  • Take on different assignments during Enterprise-wide special events as needed.

Job Requirements: 

  •     Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field and/or experience in social media, marketing, public relations or related field or direct experience to equal 2+ years.
  • Possess a strong understanding (purpose, use, analytics etc.) of social media and marketing platforms.
  • Experience with creating and identifying quality social media content. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Intermediate-level experience with Microsoft Office Suite.  
  • Excellent organizational skills.
