 Position Summary

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the KINESSO team as a Social Media Project Manager. In this role, you will work closely with our internal and Nike team members to drive an agile and efficient process across multiple projects at once. The candidate should have experience across both campaign and project development within social media in order for the social media strategy team to develop informed, smart and creative, social strategies for clients, provide a fresh, new perspective on the ever-changing social landscape, and publish directly on social platforms on behalf of our clients.

You are always looking for ways to improve workflow, spotting inefficiencies and coming up with solutions that create impact in the immediate and future state.

Responsibilities

Project & Workflow Management

  • Own and manage project intake and tracking via Airtable and Asana, including building request forms, assigning projects, building timelines and clear status updates.
  • Oversee the timely flow of multiple social projects from initial client brief to completion.
  • Ensure all work is delivered on time, approved by key stakeholders, and executed to the highest standard.
  • Identify risks, flag dependencies, and proactively solve for project roadblocks
  • Partner closely with Sr Strategists and leadership to proactively identify potential risks and develop solutions before issues arise.
  • Continuously evaluate workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
  • Work with internal team to manage client assets, organizing access to client material, and making sure it's distributed to the necessary team members via Box.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Social Strategy and Client teams to ensure alignment and clarity across all workstreams.
  • Manage resource allocation and monitor burn reports and team bandwidth in collaboration with leadership, operations and finance teams to mitigate risks and maintain team health.
  • Lead internal weekly team status meetings to align on priorities, track progress, and drive accountability across workstreams.
  • Facilitate weekly project management syncs with leadership to review key updates, address escalations, and ensure teams are operating efficiently.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead weekly client status meetings to ensure alignment, maintain strong relationships, and drive overall client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate weekly project management syncs with leadership to review key updates, address escalations, and ensure teams are operating efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with organic clients and ensure clear communication between internal teams and clients to support seamless execution.

Content Operations & Publishing

  • Support the testing, QA, and publishing of organic social content for @nike channels across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Snapchat etc. with agility, operational excellence, and flawless execution.
  • Manage PTO publishing coverage calendars and ensure continuity during holidays and team absences.

Innovation & Thought Leadership

  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Partner with platform representatives (e.g., Meta, TikTok, etc) to explore new opportunities and capabilities.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and innovation initiatives within the team.
  • Collaborate with the social strategy team and associated Omni agencies on ad hoc projects to help drive new business opportunities for KINESSO.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 3-5 years of post-college experience managing complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • A strong understanding of processes required for social media work streams such as calendars and publishing.
  • A cool, calm and collected approach to problem solving. Troubleshooting problems and developing solutions that meet the needs of both the agency and the client.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for digital marketing with strong working knowledge of the social media landscape.
  • Strong writing and communication skills -- Ability to convey information effectively and efficiently.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with an emphasis on complete accuracy.
  • Team player who is able to balance multiple workstreams, collaborate effectively and communicate clearly.
  • Confidence in executing tasks independently, working with remote team members, and interacting with peers and senior executives within Omni and at partner agencies.
  • High proficiency with project management software specifically, Asana, Airtable, Smartsheet and Box.
  • Knowledge and expertise across all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, etc.) is preferred.
  • Experience with reporting and CMS platforms (e.g., Emplifi, Radarly/Meltwater, Pulsar, Netbase) is an added bonus
  • Passion for sports and engrained in sports culture (whether that's sneaker + streetwear to fitness to sports fandom) is a big plus!
