Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Transformation Church | Indian Land, SC
Reports To: Executive Lead Team
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Transformation Church is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and stewardship as we continue to grow and multiply. This role is responsible for the financial health, sustainability, and integrity of TC's resources, ensuring alignment with our vision, and values.
About the Role
The CFO provides oversight of financial strategy, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and risk management. This role partners closely with the Executive Lead Team to steward resources effectively and support ministry impact across all locations and initiatives.
What You'll Do
  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting across the organization
  • Oversee budgeting and financial reporting to ensure alignment with TC's goals
  • Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and risk management practices
  • Provide clear financial insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Lead and develop the finance team and foster a culture of accountability and stewardship
  • Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies
  • Support financial aspects of projects, property, and multisite expansion

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy
  • Proven ability to lead teams and communicate financial concepts clearly
  • Experience with financial systems and nonprofit accounting practices
  • Alignment with Transformation Church's vision, and values

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • Experience in a nonprofit, church, ministry, or similar environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as Intacct, Martus, or similar financial systems
