CAKE Mortgage is a cutting-edge wholesale mortgage lender specializing in Non-QM products. We're redefining the lending experience with innovative programs, streamlined processes, and a commitment to speed and precision. As we grow, we're looking for forward-thinking professionals who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
We are currently seeking motivated, driven, and coachable individuals to join our dynamic sales team. As a Mortgage Wholesale Account Executive (Trainee), you'll enter a structured training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools to succeed as a full-cycle Account Executive-primarily focused on Non-QM loan products, but also well-versed in Conventional, VA, and FHA programs.
This fully in-house training program is 8 weeks long.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and complete the Account Executive training program
  • Engage in all onboarding assignments including classroom learning, role-playing, AE shadowing, and product testing
  • Gain deep understanding of CAKE Mortgage's Non-QM, Conventional, VA, and FHA loan offerings
  • Learn how to source, engage, and support third-party mortgage brokers
  • Take and pass the internal Account Executive exam within set timeframes
  • Deliver excellent service and communication to broker partners
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Requirements
  • Experience in mortgage origination or mortgage-related sales preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • High attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn Non-QM loan structures and underwriting criteria

PAID WHILE TRAINING! FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE.
Salary Pay: $3,000 base + $2,000 bump = $5,000 per month
(Bump added to monthly pay up to 6 months from start date or until first commission is paid out, whichever comes first).
